MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte reiterated that she would answer the issues regarding her confidential funds during the impeachment trial and not on the House of Representatives' bidding.Her statement comes after House Prosecutor and Manila Rep. Joel Chua criticized the vice president for explaining the controversial funds outside of the budget and House Blue Ribbon panel hearings.

'If you will remember, Congressman Stella Quimbo told the hearing that ‘Let’s stick to our plan,' and I went there at the budget hearing alone, because we were told by their fellow lawmaker that they will ask me about the confidential funds,' the vice president said.She said that she attended the subsequent House hearings and was forced to take an oath even though it was not indicated in the House rules.
