MANILA, Philippines — San Sebastian College - Recoletos pulled off a comeback for the ages, wiping out a 10-point deficit in the last 1:23 to turn back Lyceum of the Philippines University, 95-93, in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Season 100 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Center Wednesday, September 11.The Pirates seemed poised to cruise to their first win in two games after Vincent Cunanan scored a layup that put them up, 93-83, with 1:23 to go.
After a defensive stop, Lauren Cabal drew a foul and split his charities, giving Lyceum a chance to tie or win the game with a trey.Mac Guadana flubbed his triple, though, as the Golden Stags improved to 2-0 while the Pirates dropped to 0-2.
