Sam Milby took to social media to reveal that he has Type 2 Diabetes.On his Instagram, Sam posted a photo of his blood sugar glucose test kit results and said that he was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes last year.“I've always thought of myself as a healthy person. I don't have a sweet tooth, bihira din mag junk food, pero last year I found out na may type 2 diabetes na ako,” he wrote, adding that his parents and grandparents never had it.

About 90% of all diabetes cases worldwide are Type 2 diabetes, WHO says.Some common symptoms of this disease according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, are increased thirst and urination, increased hunger, feeling tired, blurred vision, numbness or tingling in the feet or hands, sores that do not heal, and unexplained weight loss.
