CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Christine Hallasgo retained her title as queen of Milo Marathon even as Richard Salaño topped the men's race in the final leg of 2024 National Milo Marathon last Sunday in Cagayan de Oro City.For their feat, they secured the honor of representing the Philippines at the Sydney Marathon on Aug. 21, 2025.
Early favorite Sonny Wagdos took the early lead but finished fourth with a still impressive time of 02:29:39.'Christine and Richard have shown what true champions are made of. Their sheer grit, unyielding discipline, and remarkable perseverance exemplify the values that MILO stands for,' said Carlo Sampan, head of Milo Sports.'We are thrilled to be part of their journey as they step onto the global stage at the 2025 Sydney Marathon.
