IN a robust demonstration of community engagement and environmental stewardship, volunteers from South Asialink Finance Corp. heroes participated in the Earth Day 2024 tree growing event, organized by the Pasig City local government unit.This significant event, led by Mayor Vico Sotto and coordinated by the Pasig City Environmental Resources Office headed by Allendri Angeles, took place at the Pasig Central Elementary School where almost 70 seedlings were planted.
The event was also attended by Pasig City's Vice Mayor Dudut Jaworski and Councilors Kiko Rustia and Angelu de Leon, who collectively emphasized the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation efforts. The tree growing activity was seen as a foundation for ongoing environmental education and stewardship in Pasig City.
