Saab Magalona and husband Jim Bacarro were already in line at immigration, ready to fly out to Hong Kong to see their favorite band, The Strokes, when they received a text from home, telling them their second son Vito was sick.
Quickly, the married couple decided to cancel their travel plans last-minute to rush home to their sick boy.
"Love is planning a quick romantic getaway to watch your favorite band in a foreign country," Saab began. "Love is returning to your kid with a fever and rash, nursing him back to health and thanking your stars that you weren’t on the plane yet," she continued.
