RTD to add security feature to MyJPJ app
Road users who wish to register their MyJPJ app will need to input a unique alphanumeric identifier number displayed on the back of their driving licence beginning Tuesday. – Facebook pic, February 14, 2023.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said this follows the decision of the Road Transport Department this morning to add another feature to the app to boost its level of security. He added that the RTD introduced the security feature following complaints that the app registration required the use of an individual’s identity card number which could be misused by irresponsible parties.
