The MMDA has announced the temporary closure of Roxas Boulevard on June 12 for the 125th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine independence. | zacariansINQ
According to MMDA, the closure will be implemented from T.M. Kalaw to P. Burgos, both lanes, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony.Katigbak Parkway, South Road, and Independence Road will also temporarily close from 12:01 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to give way to a civic-military parade.
Trucks going to North Harbor are advised to reroute from South Luzon Expressway straight to Osmeña Highway. Right turn to Quirino Avenue, straight to Nagtahan Street, going to Lacson Avenue, left turn to Yuseco Street, and straight to Capulong Street, then right turn or turn left to R-10 road to the destination.
