The body of an unidentified girl was found at a seashore in Barangay North Bay Boulevard North in Navotas City on Monday afternoon.
Police Staff Sergeant Ernie Baroy, investigator on case, said the victim was riding his bicycle on his way home when two men onboard a motorcycle who were wearing black jackets and helmets came from behind and shot the victim multiple times. The suspect was identified as Daniel Sabado, 21, alleged member of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik Gang, and resident in Pasay City. He was arrested along with a Michael Dapitin, 35.
A follow-up unit proceeded to the place where they were able to speak to one Geraldine Velarde who revealed that identity of the suspect. According to her, on June 13 at 6 in the morning, Daniel appeared at their place and from a distance she heard him talking to somebody that he stabbed a taxi driver near Estrella Street in Pasay City.
