Extreme jealousy, aggravated by the suspect being high on drugs, led to the gruesome killing of a woman, who was stabbed then beheaded by her live-in partner inside their rented house in Quezon City on Thursday.

According to the police, the man, later identified as Llena, took his three-year-old daughter hostage, while armed with a pistol. Probers have yet to determine if the victim was shot or stabbed first before she was beheaded as two gunshots were heard. Authorities also noticed stab wounds on the victim’s body.“Tinitingnan namin ay selos. Parang praning kasi yung lalaki dahil laging lumalabas yung babae, pinaghihinalaan niyang may iba ,” Villanueva explained.

About P200,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized from a 30-year-old man in a sting operation at Barangay Tanza 2 in Navotas City Friday. The suspect, who is now under police custody, will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.Five drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Ugong, Valenzuela City Friday.
