More than half a million pesos worth of shabu was confiscated from a bar entertainer and her four cohorts in an anti-narcotics operation in Quezon City on Monday night.

An undercover officer purchased P30,000 worth of shabu from the suspects who were inside a black Nissan Patrol with plate number XFZ 217, which police said was being used in their transactions. For all the place a person can be arrested, it was inside a barangay hall in Mandaluyong City that a woman, who previously worked as a mall cashier, was nabbed by police on Monday.

According to a complaint, Rentino allegedly stole P30,000 cash from the cash register of a mall in Mandaluyong City in July of 2017.It was discovered after mall officials have reviewed the sale transaction payments she have made. Police said that Prudencio Bucasas, 21, was about to turn over his .38 caliber revolver to Buhian, his reliever, at around 9:20 p.m. in front of the mall they were working when Bucasas accidentally pulled the trigger of his service pistol.

Operatives of MPD SMART under Maj. Rosalino Ibay Jr. conducted the entrapment along Blumentritt corner Felix Huertas, Sta. Cruz, Manila at around 8:45 a.m. on July 2. Cortez said that she had been demanding P30 from vendors for outsourced “cleaning operations.” She also admitted that she makes P25,000 from her extortion activities.
