A man was arrested for killing a 15-year-old boy and injuring his 58-year-old mother in their house at Barangay Longos in Malabon City Sunday morning.The suspect, who police identified as Angelo James Dejados, 28, jobless, resident of the area, was arrested during a follow-up operation. His unidentified cohort remains at-large.
After the suspects fled, Elizabeth went out of her house and sought the neighbors’ help. Police said that a tricycle driver tried to bring the victim to the nearby hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival. P/Col. Jessie Tamayao, Malabon police chief, identified the victim as Hermenia Cruz; while the suspect as Jericho Cruz Jr., 18, both residents of the city. Hermenia, who is now in stable condition after she was rushed to a Caloocan hospital, pointed to Jericho as the one who did the crime, leading to the suspect’s arrest.Fourteen drug suspects nabbed
