Presidential spokesman Harry Roque made the suggestion to the Vice President after she reportedly found the government's efforts to address the health emergency lacking and sought a complete report on the matter.

“I invite the good Vice President to just ask what she needs to know. We will respond. That’s part of my duties as spokesperson,” he said. She also asked for a comprehensive report on the government’s pandemic response, including how the Bayanihan funds were spent in the past few months. “Buong mundo po we are far from beating COVID-19. We hope the Philippine can break this worldwide trend,” he said.
