Sa isang pahayag, iginiit ng lider ng Kamara de Representantes na totoo na may mga benepisaryo ang ibinibigay na ayuda ng gobyerno para sa mga mahihirap at mga tao na kapos ang kita.
Ginawa ni Romualdez ang pahayag sa harap ng mga puna sa inaprubahang P26 bilyong pondo para sa AKAP sa ilalimng inaprubahang P6.325 trillion budget para sa 2025. Mula sa orihinal na P39 bilyong pondo para sa AKAP na nanggaling sa Kamara, ibinaba ito sa P26 bilyon.
