Vice President Leni Robredo’s net worth has rose to ₱3.5 million in 2019, according to her latest statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN).
Robredo's latest SALN also showed that this is the second time that her net worth increased since she was elected vice president in 2016.
The increase in her net worth, according to the copy obtained by CNN Philippines, can be attributed to the growth of her assets from ₱14.2 million in 2018 to ₱15.4 million last year.The value of her other personal properties remained unchanged. Robredo’s furniture and appliances are still at ₱1.5 million; jewelry, ₱100,000; prepaid insurance, ₱655,000; Toyota Innova, ₱1.12 million; and Toyota Grandia, ₱1.75 million.
Meanwhile, the vice president’s eight real properties in Naga City, Camarines Sur have a total value of ₱1.735 million.Robredo's SALN also showed that she has “shares of stock” at Meralco amounting to ₱95,000. The Office of the Vice President said that Robredo’s SALN will remain accessible to public despite the restrictions imposed by the Office of the Ombudsman., the Ombudsman's Office said it will not grant requests for copies of SALN without the consent of public officials.
