Aspiring president Vice President Leni Robredo did not win in Zamboanga del Sur in 2016 but her supporters in the province vowed it will not be the case come May.
“Alam n’yo po gulat na gulat ako dahil alam n’yo po nung 2016, while nanalo po ako sa halos lahat na lugar dito sa Zamboanga Peninsula, dito sa Zambo Sur, natalo ako ,” Robredo said as she opened her speech before the crowd of pink-clad supporters in Plaza Luz in Pagadian City Friday, March 18.
During her speech, the Vice President assured the locals that if elected, she will not hold grudges over not winning in certain places and allow that to influence her decisions as a leader.
