NBA veteran Glen Robinson III is ready to bring his wealth of experience and leadership to a Magnolia squad that has stockpiled new talents led by Zav Lucero and Jerom Lastimosa during the offseason.
Deprived of a PBA championship since 2018, the Hotshots have high hopes that Robinson III can help lead the franchise back to the league's Mount Olympus.'The experience I have in the NBA , that's what they want me to bring. I'm trying to bring my best every day and uplift everyone around me, and my teammates have done a great job bringing me to the team,' said Rohinson III, the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk champion.
Robinson III admitted that since arriving in the country three weeks ago, he's been learning how the PBA style of being played with the help of his teammates.And yes, the 30-year-old American is pumped up to reinforce Magnolia, especially upon learning that the franchise has a solid fan base in the PBA.'I wasn't too familiar with it earlier, but I've learned this is the second-oldest professional basketball league, so that's a pleasure to be a part of.
