Robert Downey Jr. is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a different and exciting character! On Instagram, Marvel Studios announced that the American actor will play the role of the supervillain Dr. Victor von Doom for the movies "Avengers: Doomsday," which will be released in May 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars," debuting in May 2027.
