The Power of An Icon at the 1st Manila International Fashion Film Competition, held at The Cove, Okada Manila on Friday.
The inaugural Manila International Fashion Film Competition or FAME Awards, presented by Maggie Garduque and GANAP Magazine, had eight local and two international entries in the competition. Lito Ordano’s Patayak Rutay, which starred Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 Maria Charo Calalo, won Best Fashion Film honors and awards for editing, cinematography, and visual effects, while Synthesis from the United Kingdom, won Best International Fashion Film honors.
Well-known for public and humanitarian service, Amytony, who is also a licensed nurse, operates several board and care homes for people with developmental disabilities for more than 20 years. She also heads the newly formed Global Entertainment and Events Management, Inc. which presents the Asia Pacific Excellence Awards and the World Class Excellence Awards, among others.
The Miss Tourism Philippines search is ongoing with the finals set in January 2023, while the Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2022 just recently held at the World Trade Center Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Miss Vietnam Lê Trần Bình An bagged the crown while runners-up were Miss Philippines Lucky Faye Angelie Erese , Miss Chile , Miss Netherlands Anastasia Fridman and Miss Thailand Samita Saejiw .
