Rita Daniela has won the Jury Prize at this year’s International Film Festival Manhattan for her performance in “Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw.”
“With her latest international award and a baby on the way, seems like blessings are really pouring in for our girl!” the post said.In “Huling Ulan sa Tag-Araw,” Rita played Luisa, a bar entertainer and family breadwinner, opposite Ken Chan’s Luis, a seminarian who longs for a sign.
After a chance meeting, they go to Luis’ house in the province where they start developing feelings for each other but are unsure whether their love would last.for her role and for singing the film’s theme song “Umulan Man o Umaraw.”
