Ms Clarke sat down with Sky News host Sharri Markson to discuss the state of the Australian bushfire readiness among the states. “I think it’s really damning … I think all states and territories are not ready for summer,” she told Ms Markson. “Specifically, the bushfire season. “The army can only be called in for a special amount of things … summer is coming, and I think we haven’t really had a plan.”
