Caloocan City District 2 Representative Edgar “Egay” Erice on Friday, March 25, vowed to end criminality, illegal drugs and poverty in the city if he wins the mayoral race in the May 2022 elections.

During Team Bughaw’s proclamation rally on Friday evening at the corner of 7th Avenue and Cordero Street in Gracepark, Erice promised to ensure the safety of each family and change the troubled image of Caloocan City.

The mayoral candidate added that he plans to hire and train more village watchmen and raise their salaries to P7,000 per month instead of only P1,000. The quick response of police, firemen, and ambulances to residents’ call for help will also be ensured. Residents with health cards will be visited by doctors, nurses, and pharmacists in their homes for free checkups, while senior citizens will be given free maintenance medicines.
