IT is tragic that Meta has abandoned its fact-checking now that we are experiencing a season of lies and disinformation.

While Sen. Risa Hontiveros has already filed a substitute bill, which was appreciated by Malacañang, it is still relevant to call out the lies and disinformation that are being peddled by religious conservatives.They are still at it.

And yet, the lie and disinformation continued to fester, reproduced in social media, enabled even by members of Congress, and believed by even those who should know better, so Senator Hontiveros capitulated.
