DOH – 7 said that a total of 1,351 samples were examined for real-time polymerase chain reaction techniques that day. The agency’s data show that of the samples tested, 370 showed traces of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Twenty others also tested positive for the virus but DOH -7 said that these were repeat tests or samples that were taken from previously confirmed coronavirus patients.
