President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on Wednesday reminded Filipinos to reflect on their purpose as the country commemorates All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.
In his message, Marcos Jr said the public should remember the courage that saints and their departed loved ones showed despite the challenges they faced.
"This time comes as a refreshing gift for we can also enjoy reuniting with our loved ones while receiving much needed nourishment for our spiritual lives," said the President. Meanwhile, Vice-President Sara Duterte urged the Catholic faithful to use this time to reflect on the depth of their relationship and faith to God.
