Xiaomi Philippines earlier confirmed that the Redmi 12C will go official in the country soon. In particular, the launch date is on March 23, 2023.

A new budget Redmi smartphone will be available in the Philippines soon!First announced in China last January, the new Redmi 12C is an entry-level offering featuring a fingerprint-resistant body in Shadow Black, Dark Blue, Mint Green, or Lavender colorways and a large 6.71-inch LCD screen with HD+ 1650 x 720 resolution with a notch housing a 5MP selfie camera.

Under the hood, it has basic Android specs. The device is powered by the 12nm MTK Helio G85 chip with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU, 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB or 128G eMMC 5.1 expandable internal storage via microSD card, and a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with micro USB 10W charging support.The rest of the specs and features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and FM Radio.There is no word about its local price tag yet.
