Iloilo City—The Philippine Red Cross has sent additional blood supply to both Iloilo and Aklan, two of the five provinces in Western Visayas region under a dengue outbreak.

Senator Richard Gordon, who is also PRC chairman, has assured the quick availability of blood supply, especially plasma and cryoprecipitate that are very much needed in complicated cases of dengue.
