The Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front emphasized its intent to continue causing disruption and violence by declaring that there will be no holiday truce, National Security Adviser Eduardo Año stated on Thursday.
He explained that this significant decline has rendered them incapable of conducting major operations against security forces or effectively recruiting new members. He also stressed that peace-building requires sincerity, and the actions of the CPP-NPA-NDF have consistently demonstrated a lack of sincerity and commitment to peace.
