Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation ’s Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer, Lito Villanueva, graced the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe’s invitation to speak at their Summer Conference through a virtual meeting platform.
Villanueva championed the Philippines’ exponential growth as a bustling global hotspot for digital finance and fintech adoption. Inspired by the conference’s theme, “Unlocking Value With AI: Enhancing Customer Experience, Product Innovation, and Operational Efficiency in the Financial Services Sector,” the RCBC Executive sought to motivate the bankers and find standard solutions to problems faced by developing countries such as the Philippines and Zimbabwe.

It is about creating a pathway to financial freedom for our customers. This is why our digital solutions are more than just products. They are lifelines for the underserved,” Villanueva added.

The insights you shared, backed by your rich experience and vast knowledge, provided an entirely new perspective, which will be incredibly beneficial in the long run.” This recognition underscores the impact of Villanueva’s thought leadership on a global scale.
