The sinking of the fishing boat Liberty 5 and the disappearance of its 14 crew and passengers in the waters off Occidental Mindoro on June 27 was the first major challenge thatAn arduous weeklong search yielded no trace of the missing mariners, and the PCG under Ursabia has pressed charges against the officers and owner of the Hong Kong-flagged bulk carrier Vienna Wood.
