Traders at the Ramadan bazaar here are reminded to always maintain cleanliness and quality of the iftar food to visitors throughout the month of Ramadan.
Ranau District Officer, Jumain Abd Ghani said, cleanliness is the most important factor for food operators operating eating and drinking businesses.He said, among the contributing factors of contaminated food and drinks, is food exposed to flies and sand dust, the attitude of traders who do not maintain cleanliness, and unsafe water sources.
