Each food truck sells one “Menu Rahmah” meal from 5pm to 8pm, alongside other regular-priced dishes.
They are located in Jalan Raja, behind Campbell Complex and in the parking area of Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman every day from 4pm to 2am.
BRR is an initiative under the “Payung Rahmah” programme introduced by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry and implemented in 38 locations nationwide. Mohd Azam Shamsul Bakri, 24, who sells air balang, told Bernama that he was glad to be able to sell his drinks at RM5 instead of the regular price of RM7 per plastic cup.
“I opted to sell serunding in a 40g packet with four pieces of ketupat palas at RM5 within the prescribed time,” she said.
