Rama issues marching orders: Release all P5K typhoon aid by February 25

Mayor Michael Rama has ordered department heads in the Cebu City government to complete by Feb. 25 the distribution of P5k aid.

The distribution has to be completed before then or else they will face the consequences. The mayor did not reveal the consequences if the departments fail to release the budget on the scheduled date. The aid is the same whether the house is partially or totally damaged since the city government argues that even if the home is only partially damaged, the money can be used for other needs.
