Guiao attributes the team's success to their December performance, exceeding their target of three or four wins. The team's impressive victories over Eastern, San Miguel, and Magnolia add to the festive atmosphere.
The fiery mentor was elated that the Elasto Painters are ending 2024 on a four-game winning streak to sit at the fourth spot of the standings with a 4-1 slate.
“Magandang pakiramdam knowing yung five games namin sa December, even before the conference started sabi ko kailangan makapanalo tayo ng tatlo or apat sa games natin sa December, na-accomplish naman namin yung objective namin,” said Guiao. Of course, what comes with the win streaks are the incentives and bonuses the team is getting from generous team owners Raymond Yu and Terry Que, making the Christmas season all the merrier for everybody.
“I think that's also part of the Christmas spirit that we are sharing the responsibility that they made the contribution” he added.
