New car plates have been launched in Australia to help drivers who are getting back behind the wheel after a road accident. 7NEWS
The new R plates, or “return” plates, were launched by Australian service and repair company mycar – formerly Kmart Tyre & Auto.For more Travel related news and videos check outMycar says the plates have been introduced to help drivers return to the road after suffering trauma, or returning from a long break from driving.
“The R plate signifies to other road users that the driver may need some extra care, giving them time and space to recover.New car plates have been launched in Australia to help drivers who are getting back behind the wheel after a road accident.The company said about three-quarters of Australians have been affected by a road incident, according to a 1,000 person survey conducted by Pureprofile in August this year.
