The Albanese Government is facing calls to expel Russia’s Ambassador in Canberra after he reiterated Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threats and claimed Australians were “brainwashed”.

Australia levelled another set of sanctions on 28 Russian-appointed separatists as well as ministers and senior officials on Sunday shortly after Foreign Minister Penny Wong declared the government was “considering” expelling Dr Pavlovsky.
