Recently, a video showing a man setting off a box of fireworks near a highway went viral along with a claim that this happened in front of a petrol station in Ampang.In a statement on Sunday , Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak confirmed the incident and said a suspect had been arrested."The suspect set off a 'cake'-type firework after being asked to do so by a customer at a business owned by his friend.

"The suspect had no criminal record and tested negative for drugs," ACP Farouk said, adding that the man had been remanded for four days until Wednesday . ACP Farouk also advised the public not to get involved with any explosives that could risk lives, injuries and property damage.
