LUCENA CITY — A barangay tanod in Sariaya town in Quezon province died on Saturday after he reportedly shot himself by accident.
In a report Monday, Sariaya police said Enrique Gollene of Barangay Talaan Pantoc was on the terrace of his house around 7:30 a.m. and cleaning his caliber .45 pistol when the gun accidentally fired, hitting him on his chest.Investigators found no signs of foul play behind the death of Gollene.
