MANILA - Quezon City will shorten curfew hours and allow restaurants to resume dine-in services starting June 15, Monday.
In a memorandum released on Sunday, Mayor Joy Belmonte said the city’s “public safety hours” will be adjusted to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting on Monday.
The new curfew is shorter than the 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew that has been in effect since March 15--the start of the COVID-19 lockdown. “Food couriers providing pickup and delivery services in respect of food establishments shall also maintain a list of the names and contact numbers of all customer orders and all persons directly handling food orders or product purchases,” the memo added.
Face masks will also be required for both restaurant staff and customers, who may remove their face masks only while eating and drinking.
