FORMER United Coconut Planters Bank president and chief executive officer (CEO) Jose Querubin has taken his oath of office as a Monetary Board member (MBM) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

FORMER United Coconut Planters Bank president and chief executive officer Jose Querubin has taken his oath of office as a Monetary Board member of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas .In a statement on Friday, the BSP said Querubin took his oath of office on Thursday at the BSP head office in Manila. Querubin will serve as a member of the Monetary Board until July 2, 2026.

and a former executive vice president and Asia regional sales director of the Bank of America.He also served as Megalink president and CEO, and Bankers Association of the Philippines secretary.Querubin holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, and bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from the De La Salle University.The experienced banker completes the seven-member board of the BSP.
