Officials from two levels of government will hold marathon meetings for days to hash out details of the 2032 Olympics infrastructure spend.

Acting premier Steven Miles says he remains confident the Queensland and federal governments can arrive at a 50-50 funding split for the state’s Olympics infrastructure bill, which will be ratcheted up by a Gabba rebuild blow-out.

The Gabba overhangs the current site footprint, home to sport since 1896, across busy Vulture and Stanley streets.

Speaking on Thursday, Miles reiterated the state’s optimism about sharing costs for the stadium overhaul.
