Former chief presidential legal counsel Salvador Panelo on Saturday slammed the findings of the House Quad Comm ittee’s probe into the previous administration’s war on drugs.“The allegations made these people are either coerced testimonies or based on hearsay, or both,” said Panelo, who also served as Palace spokesperson during the Duterte administration.“They will never stand in court,” he added.
He said that the QuadComm’s hearings were “all political,” adding that they were “designed to destroy Duterte and his daughter Sara, so that the latter can be eliminated in the 2028 presidential race.
