The previous record of 16 goals in a game was set five times, the most recent coming last April when the Sea Dogs and Eagles combined for 16 goals in a 14-2 win Saint John. The record was also tied in 2015-16 , 2008-09 , 2000-01 , and 1998-99 . Eriks Mateiko netted a pair of goals, while Giuseppe Ianniello, Brady Burns, Vince Elie, Noah Reinhart, Luka Benoit, and Alexis Cournoyer chipped in with goals for the Sea Dogs.
