The Quezon City Police District said it filed a complaint against transport group Manibela officials for their protest action last May 6 against the PUV Modernization Program.
The Quezon City Police District on Saturday said it filed a criminal complaint against officials of the transport group Samahang Manibela Mananakay at Nagkaisang Terminal ng Transportasyon or Manibela for their protest action last May 6 against the government's Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program.The QCPD 's complaint was filed against Manibela chairperson Mar Valbuena and two others, according to a report by Christian Maño on Super Radyo dzBB.
Similar charges were filed by the QCPD against Manibela last month for their alleged "disruptive behavior" during a two-day strike held in April at Welcome Rotonda in Quezon City.Valbuena did not comment on the latest complaint, but told Super Radyo dzBB the group will issue a statement soon.
