The Quezon City Police District has filed a complaint against the officials of transport group Manibela after they held a transport strike from June 10 to 12 in protest of the government’s public utility vehicle modernization program.
The report added that the QCPD tried to have a dialogue with Manibela, but Valbuena and the group leaders allegedly refused to cooperate with the police. Valbuena earlier apologized for the traffic caused by their protest, as they did not expect the influx of PUV drivers and operators who joined the rally.
