Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Sunday, June 4, said that she is expecting more citizens to benefit from the Q City Bus Program, after it was institutionalized as one of the city’s programs for public transportation. | ManilaBulletin

The program, which was established in 2020 to provide free rides for residents and workers in the city amid the Covid-19 pandemic, became part of city government-managed public transportation program after the mayor signed City Ordinance No. SP-3184, S-2023, in April this year.

The city government said that the program already catered 14.6 million passengers along eight routes since it was established. She added that the program is also a big help for the QCitizens in managing their daily transportation expenses.
