The awards were conferred on the local government during the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index 2024 awarding ceremony held at the Manila Hotel.The city placed 2nd and 3rd in the Most Competitive: Innovation and Most Competitive: Resiliency award categories, respectively.
