Thousands of runners participated in the first QC Eco-run, a joint initiative by Globe at Home and the Quezon City Government to promote environmental consciousness and sustainable living.
The Quezon City Government and Globe at Home partnered to promote ecological preservation and sustainability at the first QC Eco-run on November 24, 2024, at the Quezon Memorial Circle. More than 6,000 runners participated in this premier straight run, traversing the Quezon Avenue-EDSA underpass. The event aimed to encourage a healthier lifestyle and fostered camaraderie among families, friends, and co-workers.
Globe at Home emphasized its commitment to sustainability by highlighting its reliable and fast connectivity. The brand launched a groundbreaking product for prepaid fiber customers, allowing them to double their internet speed to up to 100 Mbps. Abigail Cardino, VP and Head of Brand Management for Globe’s Broadband Business, stated, “Globe at Home understands how essential, reliable, and fast connectivity is for today’s lifestyles. They also distributed vegetable seeds to participants to encourage urban gardening. This is why we integrated this advocacy into our inaugural running event – to inspire every stakeholder to embrace the role of an eco-warrior,”
