BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a couple in a buy-bust operation in Hacienda Cumabat 1, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, September 27.
A PERSON with Disability and his wife were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, September 27.
Police identified the suspects as Ronel Baron, 31, a Person with Disability , and his wife Melisa, 39. Police Major Rhea Sarah Villanueva, officer-in-charge of the Silay City Police Station, said the couple yielded nine grams of suspected shabu worth P61,200.Villanueva said that Baron was allegedly engaged in the illegal drugs trade even before he was bedridden due to a motorcycle accident.Villanueva said that they have allotted a custodial facility for the couple and Baron is being checked by rescuers from time to time to monitor his medical condition.
