MANILA, Philippines – Choco Mucho gave the legendary Manilla Santos-Ng a winning return to volleyball, as they swept BaliPure in their first game of the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference

on Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Setter AC Masangkay earned Player of the Game honors after tallying 15 excellent sets, as she maximized the presence of Kat Tolentino, Bang Pineda, and Maddie Madayag. Choco Mucho cruised to a huge win in the opening set, which saw Santos-Ng – the iconic player from De La Salle University – play competitive volleyball for the first time in a decade. The former Lady Spiker made her presence felt, contributing a service ace for a 21-8 advantage.— ABS-CBN Sports August 14, 2019
